Across the Southern Plains, the regional radar shows dynamic weather activity. Albuquerque and El Paso are experiencing scattered rain showers, contributing to a wet start to the day. Moving east, San Antonio is seeing some intense storm cells, with heavy rain and potential thunderstorms, particularly near Corpus Christi, where the rain is heavier and storms more severe. Meanwhile, the Oklahoma City area remains dry, but Little Rock is starting to see the rain clouds moving in. Farther north, Kansas City is under cloud cover with rain showers just to the east, creating a damp atmosphere. New Orleans enjoys a calm weather pattern today, with clear conditions and no significant precipitation in sight.
For this evening in Austin, anticipate temperatures holding steady at 63 degrees with showers persisting through the night. Winds are from the east, varying slightly between 6 to 7 miles per hour. Light rain continues past midnight, maintaining a damp atmosphere across the area.
For lows across the Southern Plains, Oklahoma City will dip to 39 degrees, while Dallas sees a low of 41. Kansas City can anticipate a chillier start at 36 degrees. Farther south, San Antonio will cool to 65 degrees, and Corpus Christi is expected to stay relatively warmer at 68 degrees. El Paso should settle around 59 degrees, providing a contrast to the cooler temperatures prevalent elsewhere.
High temperatures for the Southern Plains region tomorrow are trending above average, bringing a warm and pleasant day. In El Paso, expect a high of 86 degrees, well above the typical for this time of year. Midland is forecast to reach 85 degrees, also showcasing above-average warmth. San Antonio will see a comfortable high of 77 degrees, while down in Corpus Christi, temperatures are expected to hit 77 degrees as well. Dallas is looking at a cooler high of 69 degrees, reflecting some localized variability. Further north in Oklahoma City, anticipate a high of 72 degrees. To the east, Little Rock is set for a warm 75 degrees, with Jackson experiencing a high of 77 degrees.

Wednesday: Thunderstorms arrive late, with a high of 88 degrees and a low around 69.
