Across the Southern Plains, the regional radar shows a mix of clear and active weather patterns. A patch of severe storms is cruising through the Gulf, just off the coast of Louisiana, creating some excitement near New Orleans as the system edges closer. Despite this, New Orleans itself is experiencing relatively calm weather. In Texas, clear skies dominate with no significant precipitation reported from San Antonio up to the Dallas area. The radar remains calm around El Paso as well, with no active weather interference allowing for stable conditions. Meanwhile, the areas encompassing Albuquerque and Midland are also experiencing clear skies, offering a peaceful weather pattern over these regions. Farther north, towards the Oklahoma City area, conditions remain calm, providing a break from any potential storm activity.
For this evening in Austin, expect a clear and calm pattern. Temperatures will dip from 72 degrees at 8 PM to 59 degrees by midnight. The night promises a serene atmosphere, ideal for any late-night plans, with calm winds complementing the clear skies.
In the Southern Plains, temperatures are taking a noticeable dip. Oklahoma City will see a low of 59 degrees. In Texas, Dallas will be a bit warmer at 57 Over in San Antonio, expect lows around 57 degrees, while Austin will be slightly cooler at 48. Meanwhile, the cold air pushes down into New Mexico, with Albuquerque forecasted for a low of 45.
High temperatures in the Southern Plains tomorrow are trending well above average, showcasing a warm spring day. El Paso will reach a high of 83 degrees, enjoying warm conditions. Midland is set for a balmy high of 84 degrees, consistent with the trend across the region. San Antonio anticipates an even warmer high of 88 degrees, well above normal for this time of year. Corpus Christi is also on the warmer side with a high of 81 degrees. Dallas will be slightly cooler, expecting a high of 84 degrees. Farther north, Little Rock will see a high of 75 degrees, while Oklahoma City is forecasted for 84 degrees. Overall, the warm air mass sweeping through the region contributes to these elevated temperatures, making for a beautiful day across the Southern Plains.
