A line of strong storms is pushing through the Kansas City area, with rainfall stretching southeast towards Little Rock and impacting parts of Oklahoma City. The central part of the region, including El Paso and Midland, remains dry with no significant cloud cover. Watch for scattered rain showers to potentially affect areas just north of Jackson as the system progresses.
Temperatures in Austin this afternoon are holding steady around 95 degrees with partly cloudy skies. Expect a consistent south-southeast breeze at 11 miles per hour, increasing slightly to 13 miles per hour by 8 PM.
