On the Regional Radar, significant rain activity can be observed stretching across eastern Texas into Louisiana, prominently impacting areas like Jackson and New Orleans. Oklahoma City and its surrounding regions remain under clear conditions without notable precipitation. Meanwhile, lighter rain showers are noted in parts of northeast Texas and are extending into Arkansas, as indicated near Little Rock. San Antonio and Dallas enjoy clearer skies, providing a break from any severe weather threats. The Southern Plains are experiencing scattered rain showers, with the heaviest rains concentrated around the coastal and southeastern areas.
For this evening in Austin, expect mostly cloudy skies with temperatures starting at 78 degrees at 8 PM. By 10 PM, the temperature will dip to 76 degrees under partly cloudy conditions. Midnight brings a further drop to 73 degrees while partly cloudy skies persist.
Oklahoma City will see a low of 63 degrees, while Dallas drops to 68. Little Rock is expected to cool down to 60 degrees.
