As this system moves inland, we anticipate precipitation to reach areas farther east, including the Sierra Nevada, where higher elevations could receive snowfall. Reno is staying dry for now. Salt Lake City and Ely maintain clear skies. Cedar City is also enjoying dry conditions at present. Flagstaff, Arizona, experiences cloud cover and a possibility for snow flurries, adding a chill to the otherwise calm weather in the region. In Southern California, Los Angeles is experiencing mild conditions. San Diego maintains clear skies as well, while Bakersfield and Fresno remain dry under partly cloudy conditions. Las Vegas is enjoying a sunny day with no precipitation expected.
For this evening in Phoenix, anticipate mostly clear skies. Temperatures will begin at 81 degrees at 9 PM, descending to 72 degrees by 1 AM. Winds start from the west-southwest at 8 miles per hour, decreasing slightly to the southwest at 6 miles per hour as the night progresses.
