Cedar City and Ely are experiencing cold rain and even snow showers at higher elevations. Light rain is spreading across Reno and Fresno, with more substantial showers over the San Francisco Bay Area. Bakersfield remains in the clear for now, but clouds are building to the west. In contrast, San Diego and Los Angeles are enjoying clear skies.
Temperatures in Phoenix this afternoon will reach 82 degrees by 3 p.m., climbing to 84 degrees by 5 p.m., and remain steady into the early evening. Expect sunny skies with light winds from the west-southwest at 6 miles per hour, increasing to 10 miles per hour later.
In the Southwest today, we’re seeing quite a range in high temperatures. Phoenix is reaching a warm 86 degrees, while Las Vegas enjoys a pleasant 83.
