As we shift eastward, Cedar City and nearby areas in Utah are seeing snow as well, with Flagstaff, Arizona, under a snow blanket. In contrast, Las Vegas stands dry and calm, serving as a gentle oasis amidst the broader regional weather activity.
Farther afield in Phoenix, some light rain is falling, adding a bit of moisture to the desert landscape. It’s a real mix of conditions across the Southwest, so whether you’re planning to explore the cities or the great outdoors, it’s good to keep an eye on the evolving weather scene.
In Southern California, rain is edging in over Los Angeles with some sprinkles lighting up the radar, providing a refreshing change, while San Diego remains mostly clear. Moving northward, Fresno is feeling the wet weather with steady rain, while Northwards in Redding there’s a similar pattern of showers sweeping through the area.

For tomorrow morning in Salt Lake City, a mostly cloudy start is on the horizon with temperatures beginning at 32 degrees at 7 AM. By 9 AM, temperatures will rise slightly to 33 degrees with an east-southeast breeze at 5 miles per hour. As the morning progresses to 11 AM, expect temperatures to climb to 39 degrees.
Phoenix is set for a warm day with a high of 70 degrees, which is around average for this time of year. Las Vegas will see similar warmth, reaching 62 degrees, also typical for early April. In Southern California, Los Angeles is forecasted to hit 63 degrees, while San Diego remains slightly cooler with a high of 60 degrees.
Moving inland, Fresno will warm up to 66 degrees, five degrees above average. Bakersfield matches Fresno’s peak at 66 as well, indicating a rather pleasant day in the valley. San Francisco, on the other hand, will have a cooler high of 61 degrees.
