On the Regional Radar, a pocket of rain and potential severe weather is making its way into the northern parts of California, particularly around Redding. Reno is also seeing some light precipitation, with snow expected in the surrounding Sierra Nevada mountains, potentially impacting travel. Ely remains dry at this time, with conditions expected to stay clear through most of the day. Farther south, the weather remains calm across much of Nevada and Arizona, including Las Vegas, where dry conditions prevail. Along the coast, cities like San Francisco is experiencing a break from significant weather. Flagstaff is readying for a drop in temperatures with light snow showers in the forecast due to colder air coming from the north. The scene is set for a varied day across the Southwest, with clear skies dominating much of the region while specific areas experience more dynamic weather shifts.
Los Angeles will experience a mostly cloudy morning, starting at 57 degrees around 8 a.m. Temperatures ease slightly to 56 degrees by 10 a.m. with calm conditions continuing. By noon, expect temperatures to rise to 63 degrees, remaining steady under mostly cloudy skies.
High temperatures across the Southwest tomorrow are shaping up to be warm, if not, hot! In Phoenix, prepare for a sizzling high of 100 degrees, which is well above average for this time of year.
