A wet weather system is bringing rain to the Northern California coastline, impacting cities like Redding and San Francisco, providing some respite from dry conditions. This rain extends into the central valleys, including areas around Fresno.
Snowfall is occurring farther inland and north of Reno, as well as around Cedar City. Snow showers are also seen in the higher elevations, creating picturesque winter scenery from Salt Lake City moving across to the west.
Las Vegas and Los Angeles are dry, with clear skies extending through San Diego. Phoenix is also experiencing clear conditions.
