On the Regional Radar for the Southwest, rain showers are moving inland from the Pacific, bringing some precipitation to areas like Fresno and San Francisco. Redding is seeing rain, while higher elevations around Reno might expect a mix or light snow. Clear conditions prevail across most of Nevada, including Ely and Las Vegas. Further east, Phoenix and Flagstaff remain dry with clear skies. Despite regional activity along the coast, Los Angeles and San Diego are experiencing mostly dry weather.

In Phoenix this evening, temperatures begin at 92 degrees around 9 PM and will drop to 83 degrees by 1 AM. Expect partly cloudy skies initially, becoming mostly cloudy by 11 PM. Winds will shift from the west at 8 miles per hour to a westerly breeze picking up to 12 miles per hour by early morning. Overall, a pleasant and warm evening is ahead, with a slight increase in cloud cover.

Tonight, the Southwest is bracing for some significant chill. Flagstaff will drop to a brisk 31 degrees, while Ely faces an even colder low of 35. Las Vegas is set to cool down to 59, a noticeable drop from recent temperatures. In Southern California, Los Angeles and San Diego will see lows of 55 degrees, keeping it relatively mild. Meanwhile, Phoenix remains warmer at 60 degrees, but will still feel a bit of a dip compared to previous nights.

High temperatures in the Southwest are trending above average for tomorrow. Phoenix will see a warm high of 77 degrees, while Las Vegas is expected to reach 70 degrees. Los Angeles will experience a milder day with a high of 63 degrees, and San Diego is set for 58. Fresno will warm up nicely to 74 degrees, and Bakersfield will see a high of 72 degrees. Overall, conditions indicate pleasant warmth across the region.

A cold front moves into Southern California on Saturday bringing rounds of showers from the San Francisco Bay down to San Diego. Expect scattered thunderstorms along with periods of heavy rainfall, particularly impacting the central valley. Watch out for slick roads and potential flash flooding in low-lying areas. Temperatures will drop slightly post-front, but clear skies are expected to resume by late Sunday afternoon.
