The Southwest region is experiencing a variety of weather conditions. The radar shows a significant band of precipitation impacting northern Nevada, including Reno, where rain is prevalent. Cedar City and areas around Flagstaff are seeing widespread rain accompanied by cooler temperatures. The southern part of California, encompassing Los Angeles and San Diego, enjoys calm conditions with only patchy clouds, making for more mild weather. Redding in northern California is mostly clear, though light rain may brush through later.
Tomorrow morning in Salt Lake City starts with a cool 43 degrees at 7 a.m., rising to 47 degrees by 11 a.m. Cloud cover will persist throughout the morning hours, with light easterly and southeasterly winds at 4 miles per hour.
High temperatures in the Southwest region tomorrow are shaping up wonderfully. Phoenix expects a high of 82 degrees, which is well above average for this time of year, basking in sunny weather. Las Vegas will also feel the heat, reaching a high of 76 degrees, slightly above seasonal norms.
Moving along the coast, Los Angeles will hit a mild 65 degrees. San Diego temperatures are expected to sit at a comfortable 63 degrees, making for a pleasant day by the beach.
Inland, Fresno is looking at a high of 68 degrees, while Bakersfield matches that at 68 as well. Up north in San Francisco, temperatures will be a bit cooler at 59 degrees. Ely, Nevada, will be on the chilly side at 47 degrees.

Northern California will receive the brunt of the system with rounds of valley rain from tomorrow afternoon, potentially heavy at times, leading to tricky travel conditions over higher elevations. Meanwhile, Southern California, including the San Bernardino Valley, can expect a series of showers extending through Thursday morning. Keep an eye on any severe weather developments, particularly closer to the coast where storms could be more intense. In the desert areas, expect winds to pick up as this front moves through, ushering in cooler temperatures.”
