On the Regional Radar, rain is steadily moving inland from the Pacific Ocean, bringing much-needed moisture to the California coastline. Central California Valleys, including Fresno and Bakersfield, are experiencing consistent rainfall, and snow is falling in the higher elevations around Redding. Windy conditions are likely to accompany this rain, so be prepared for gusts.
Las Vegas continues to stay dry under clear skies. Over in Flagstaff, light snow showers offer that magical dusting atop cooler temperatures. San Francisco is experiencing rain, providing a refreshing touch to the city’s air, while Los Angeles remains mild with only a slight chance of drizzle amidst clearer skies.
For tomorrow morning in Phoenix, anticipate a progression from clouds to more sun. Temperatures start at 70 degrees at 7 AM and gradually rise to 76 degrees by 11 AM. A gentle easterly wind of 4 miles per hour begins the day, increasing slightly to 6 miles per hour from the east-southeast as the morning advances.
High temperatures in the Southwest region for Tuesday are expected to be quite notable. Las Vegas will soar to 91 degrees, which is significantly above average for this time of year. In Phoenix, anticipate a high of 93 degrees, also well above normal.
Cedar City will reach 72 degrees. Meanwhile, Bakersfield is set for a warm 84 degrees, and Fresno will get up to 83 degrees.
“On the futurecast for the Southwest, expect a vibrant weather day. Clear and sunny conditions will prevail across the desert areas. However, the coastal regions of Northern California are bracing for several waves of valley rain from Tuesday into Wednesday. Southern California’s San Bernardino Valley should anticipate further showers with heavy bouts of rain. These conditions will contribute to challenging driving and slick terrains over mountain passes. Stay weather aware for any advisories.”
“Phoenix will experience a UV index of 7 on Tuesday and Wednesday, remaining high both days. Expect burn times of about 20 minutes, so ensure you’re using sunscreen, wearing hats, and avoiding prolonged sun exposure, especially during midday.”
