On the Regional Radar, we’re seeing a series of weather systems impacting the Southwest region. From the Pacific coast, rain showers are moving inland from San Francisco to Fresno, offering a welcome respite to the central valleys. As we head farther inland, Bakersfield is experiencing light to moderate rain, while higher elevations near Reno and Salt Lake City is seeing cloudy skies, indicating a potential shift to wintry weather later. Elsewhere in the region, Cedar City is under cloud cover with no precipitation at the moment, while Flagstaff remains chilly with the possibility of light snow flurries. Las Vegas enjoys dry conditions, with clear skies prevailing over Phoenix, offering sunny weather across the broader area. Coastal regions from Los Angeles to San Diego are seeing mild temperatures under partly cloudy skies, making it a pleasant evening.
For this evening in Los Angeles, conditions will be partly cloudy at 8 PM with temperatures around 60 degrees and a southwest wind at 7 miles per hour. By 10 PM, expect mostly cloudy skies, the temperature will dip to 57 degrees with winds from the south-southwest at 5 miles per hour. As we move to midnight, the temperature continues to edge down to 56 degrees with mostly cloudy skies and a light southwest breeze at 3 miles per hour.
Tonight in the Southwest, expect a significant drop in temperatures as chilly air moves into the region.
