However, the higher elevations face colder, wintry conditions. A dynamic picture emerges across the Southwest on the regional radar the higher elevations could brace for some more wintry conditions overnight. Winter just will not let go! In Nevada high country, snow showers are making their presence felt. Reno is on the edge, observing a mix of cloud cover but staying mostly dry. The cloud cover extends into Cedar City, Utah, where a wintry mix if falling without accumulation. The radar shows Las Vegas enjoying a break as it stays dry. In California, San Francisco to Redding remains quiet and dry, with no precipitation making headlines at the moment. Farther south, Los Angeles and San Diego hold onto mild weather, giving residents a pleasant close to the day.
For this evening in Phoenix, temperatures will start at 79 degrees at 8 PM, dropping to 76 degrees by 10 PM, and reaching 71 degrees by midnight. Expect partly cloudy skies transitioning to mostly cloudy conditions. Winds will shift from west-southwest at 12 mph to west at 8 mph later in the night.
Now for the low temperatures in the Southwest tonight. Flagstaff sees a chilly low of 33. Las Vegas will remain a bit warmer at 55 degrees. Further to the south, Phoenix is expected to experience a low of 59, which is relatively mild compared to the surrounding areas. In Cedar City, expect a low of 39 degrees.
For tomorrow, we’re looking at some warm temperatures across the Southwest region. In Las Vegas, expect a high of 78 degrees, which is slightly above average for this time of year. Farther south in Phoenix, temperatures are even warmer, reaching 83 degrees, well above typical late March highs. In Southern California, Los Angeles will see a comfortable 62 degrees, while San Diego holds near 65 degrees. The inland areas will be warmer; Bakersfield is set to reach 72 degrees and Fresno will see highs of 67 degrees. Flagstaff remains on the cooler side, with a high of just 56 degrees.

Coastal areas of Southern California, from Los Angeles to San Diego, will experience scattered showers with risk of isolated thunderstorms. Farther inland, central deserts remain dry with mild temperatures. For the Sierra Nevada, expect light snowfall by evening, possibly affecting travel conditions over mountain passes.
