On the regional radar, Flagstaff, Arizona is experiencing light snow showers, bringing a crisp bite to the air. Phoenix stays warm under clear skies. Las Vegas is also dry and warm. Clear conditions prevail across Southern California, including Los Angeles and San Diego, providing a pleasant and dry outlook for the area. Meanwhile, light rain showers are sweeping through parts of the Central Coast near San Francisco, extending into Fresno, providing some relief with much-needed moisture. Snow is visible farther north near Redding, likely impacting the higher elevations with wintry conditions.
For this evening in Phoenix, anticipate a partly cloudy start with temperatures beginning at 85 degrees around 8 PM. As the evening progresses, skies will clear with temperatures dipping to 81 degrees by 10 PM and farther to 76 degrees by midnight. The warm weather is being influenced by a persistent ridge of high pressure across the region, steering away any significant cloud cover.
