Rain is continuing to move inland from the Pacific Ocean, bringing steady showers along the northern California coast. Redding is experiencing moderate rainfall, while lighter showers spread across the Bay Area, affecting San Francisco. Rain extends farther south to Fresno, where it offers some relief to the Central Valley. Bakersfield sees just light scattered showers. In the higher elevations of the Sierra Nevada, snow is falling with intensity near Reno, combining brisk winds and lower temperatures. Light showers are scattered across the Salt Lake City area. The radar reveals dry conditions in Las Vegas Flagstaff, positioned at a higher elevation, braces for light snow flurries. In Southern California, there are clear skies across the Greater Los Angeles area, though San Diego may feel a mild coastal breeze.
For this evening in Phoenix, expect partly cloudy skies as temperatures slowly ease down from 81 degrees at 8 PM to 75 degrees by midnight. Winds will be coming from the west-southwest, ranging from 13 miles per hour at 8 PM, diminishing slightly to 11 miles per hour by midnight.
