A quiet pattern prevails across the Southern Plains, with conditions mostly dry throughout. A line of rain showers is making its way westward from the Gulf of Mexico, creeping toward cities like New Orleans, offering a wet morning. In the southwest corner near El Paso, isolated rain showers are evident, suggesting an active rainfall potential there. Northern areas, including Oklahoma City and into Little Rock, enjoy clearer skies at this hour.
Sunny skies in Austin tomorrow morning with temperatures rising from 72 degrees at 8 AM to 79 degrees by 10 AM. The calm start sees a light southwest breeze picking up to 3 miles per hour. By midday, temperatures reach 87 degrees with mostly sunny conditions as the wind shifts slightly south-southwest at 4 miles per hour.
Tomorrow El Paso is set to top out at 96 degrees, while Midland could hit a scorching 98. San Antonio will warm up to a high of 99 degrees, and Corpus Christi is expected to see 92 degrees. Dallas will reach 88 degrees, with Oklahoma City not far behind at 87.

Friday: Partly cloudy and pleasantly warm, with temperatures hitting a high of 96 degrees and a low of 76.
