Shifting eastward, a band of rain stretches from the South Plains into the Great Lakes. Dallas experiences moderate to heavy rainfall, prompting a heads-up for commuters. The most significant weather impact is over Houston, where severe storms are unleashing intense showers. The stormy weather pattern continues up to Kansas City but loses some intensity before reaching Chicago.
