In the midsection of the nation, clear skies are noted over cities like Denver and Kansas City, with no significant weather disturbances. The Southeast is grappling with a substantial rain system centered around Atlanta, extending towards coastal areas near Tampa, as showers continue to deliver heavy rainfall. This area is facing the greatest impact from the precipitation, with storms capable of causing localized flooding. Meanwhile, in the Northeast, cities such as New York and Washington D.C. enjoy calmer weather, under predominantly clear skies. Across the central and lower plains, including Oklahoma City and Houston, expect mostly clear skies with intermittent cloud cover, hinting at a tranquil weather pattern for the day.
