Across the national radar today, we’re seeing a significant system stretching from the Midwest to the East Coast. Heavy rain is soaking parts of Texas, particularly around Houston and extending toward Dallas, where flooding conditions are possible. This area seems to have the most intense weather right now, with a steady rainfall adding to the already saturated grounds. Moving north, we find a mix of rain and snow impacting regions around Minneapolis, where some wintry precipitation is expected. As we venture out eastward, Chicago is experiencing lighter rain, while further northeast in New York, steady rain will continue throughout the day, gradually lightening by evening. Over in the western states, particularly Washington and Oregon, we have some scattered showers lingering along the coast, but overall conditions are stable. Places like San Francisco and Los Angeles can expect a quieter day with mostly clear skies and mild temperatures. To sum up the impactful spots: Houston and Dallas should prepare for the heaviest showers, while areas to the north like Minneapolis might face challenges with wintry mixes. The rest of the central and eastern regions should brace for a soggy day ahead.
High temperatures for tomorrow are looking quite warm across the region, with many areas experiencing above-average readings. In the Northeast, Boston is expected to reach 66 degrees, while New York City will climb to a high of 70 degrees. Meanwhile, Washington, D.C. anticipates a warm 73 degrees, spurred by a southwesterly flow of air. Shifting to the Midwest, Chicago can foresee a high of 65 degrees, slightly above what’s typical for this time of year. Further west, Minneapolis is projected to see a high of 68 degrees, benefiting from clearing skies. Down south, Atlanta will be warm at 75 degrees, while in Miami, temperatures are set to soar to a steamy 82 degrees. This warm front is pushing through the region, bringing a taste of summer early. Overall, it’s a warm day ahead, with many cities enjoying temperatures that are a bit higher than usual for early spring.
Today’s ‘feels like’ forecast highlights the South and Southeast, where high temperatures will soar into the upper 70s and low 80s. Miami will feel particularly steamy with a high around 80 degrees and high humidity, making it feel even warmer. In Atlanta, as the temperature climbs to 78 degrees, the humidity will lead to a sultry feel. Moving into Texas, Dallas will see a high of 68 degrees; however, moisture levels will elevate the heat index, making it feel warmer. Houston, with a temperature of 75 degrees, will likely experience a muggy feel due to a combination of warmth and humidity. In contrast, the Midwest will provide a more refreshing atmosphere. Temperatures in places like Minneapolis and Chicago will hover in the mid-60s, creating a comfortable day with minimal humidity. Up north, Billings remains cooler at 55 degrees, where the brisk air will add a touch of chill without significant wind chill factors. Overall, the upper tier of the United States will enjoy mild weather, while southern regions grapple with increased humidity leading to a warmer feel.
High temperatures for tomorrow are expected to bring a mix of seasonal warmth across the region. In Chicago, we’re looking at a high of 65 degrees, which is right around average for this time of year. Detroit will see similar conditions with a high of 66 degrees. Moving east, Cleveland is forecast to reach 64 degrees, while Pittsburgh may hit 63. On a warmer note, Indianapolis could surprise us with a high approaching 68 degrees, which is slightly above average for late March. Cincinnati will enjoy a high of 70 degrees, making it one of the warmer spots in the area. The influence of a high-pressure system seems to be keeping conditions pleasant, although a few breezes may bring some cooler air in the early morning hours.
Tomorrow’s ‘feels like’ forecast shows a warm pattern across the nation! In the Southern Plains, cities like Dallas and Houston will experience high temperatures around 75 degrees, but humidity will boost the heat index, making it feel like the upper 80s. Moving to the Southeast, Atlanta is expected to hit 78 degrees; combined with higher humidity, it will feel closer to 85. Miami, basking in 80 degrees, will feel warmer as humidity drives the index into the upper 80s as well. In contrast, the Midwest will see cooler temperatures in the 60s, with places like Kansas City at about 75 degrees, offering a comfortable experience—no significant wind chill expected. Overall, whether you’re heating up in the South or enjoying milder conditions up North, be prepared for the temperatures to feel a bit warmer than the numbers suggest!
